Le Trung Nam
Corporate Restructuring, Finance & Investment – 25+ years
Le Trung Nam is the CEO of EPS Investing, with more than 25 years of experience in investment, finance, business management and corporate governance. His experience as CFO, CEO, Chairman and Board Member informs his work with owners and management on restructuring, funding and transaction decisions.
At the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), he participated in the management of State investments in businesses. He later worked directly in management, restructuring, financial management, cash flow, capital, contracts, internal control and business-development decisions across foreign-invested and privately owned companies.
His experience includes restructuring Steel Builder Vietnam as CFO, including financial and organisational improvements and ERP implementation. Steel Builder also raised capital from a Thai investor. At C47, he served as Chairman of the Board, followed by roles as Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee, with experience spanning restructuring and financing activities including convertible bond issuance.
At C47, profit increased from VND 6.4 billion in 2019 to VND 21.7 billion in 2020 and VND 44.3 billion in 2021. His broader commercial transaction experience includes a direct role in negotiating a USD 185 million EPC contract and related financing arrangements for a hydropower project in Laos.
At EPS, Nam leads Corporate Restructuring and Capital Raising and M&A assignments. He works directly with clients to assess financial and operating issues, define priorities, evaluate funding and transaction options, and support negotiation and implementation.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. He completed the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program and the GIZ-supported Partnering in Business with Germany programme.
Tran Thanh Hao
Transaction Legal Advisory, Ownership Structuring & Due Diligence – 20+ years
Hao is a senior legal professional with more than 20 years of experience in foreign investment, legal due diligence, ownership structuring, contracts, compliance and project implementation in Vietnam.
She is currently Head of Legal and Compliance at BW Industrial Development. Her previous experience includes roles at VI Group, VinaCapital, Warburg Pincus-backed businesses and Baker McKenzie.
Hao has participated in more than 50 transactions with a cumulative value exceeding USD 2 billion, working with investors, banks, law firms, project developers, business partners and government authorities.
At EPS, Hao contributes legal expertise to capital raising and M&A assignments, including ownership structuring, foreign-investment conditions, legal due diligence and contracts. Her work helps clients assess legal issues affecting a proposed transaction and coordinate the steps required for implementation.
She is a licensed lawyer in Vietnam and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program and a Bachelor of Laws from Hanoi Law University.
Tran Phi Tuan
Strategic Communications & Stakeholder Engagement – 25+ years
Tuan has more than 25 years of experience in journalism, strategic communications, corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement.
He previously worked at Saigon Times, Forbes Vietnam and Tuoi Tre, covering investment, trade, business and the operating environment in Vietnam.
His experience helps clients understand stakeholder concerns, assess communications risks and prepare clear messages when a business is undergoing change or working with investors and partners.
At EPS, Tuan contributes stakeholder analysis and communications planning to restructuring and transaction assignments where these are part of the agreed scope. He helps management plan engagement with relevant parties and communicate the rationale for proposed changes.
He holds a Master’s degree from the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, where he graduated with distinction.
Nguyen Minh Tuan
Commercial Operations, Technology Business & Distribution – 25+ years
Tuan has more than 25 years of experience in technology business, market development, operations, distribution, account management and commercial growth.
He previously held senior positions at FPT Distribution and Schneider Electric Vietnam, with experience in building markets, developing distribution channels, managing partner relationships and reaching enterprise customers.
His experience spans B2B technology solutions, digital infrastructure, energy management and equipment supporting business operations.
At EPS, Tuan contributes a commercial and operating perspective to restructuring and transaction assessments, drawing on his experience in distribution, enterprise customers and partner relationships. He helps review business models, commercial assumptions and the practical requirements of implementing proposed changes.
He holds a Master’s degree from the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, completed a mini-MBA programme at Macquarie University and holds an executive-management certificate from Harvard University.
Nguyen Dinh Cuong
Corporate Law, Commercial Contracts & Compliance – 20+ years
Cuong is a senior legal professional with more than 20 years of experience in corporate legal matters, foreign investment, commercial contracts, compliance and legal support for business operations in Vietnam.
He is currently Head of Legal at Novartis. Before joining Novartis, he was Senior Legal Manager at Sanofi, providing legal support to its Industrial Affairs function and three manufacturing facilities in Vietnam.
His experience covers company establishment, commercial contracts, distribution arrangements, procurement, manufacturing, sales, operations and compliance.
At EPS, Cuong contributes expertise in corporate legal matters, contracts and compliance to restructuring and transaction-related work. His operating experience helps identify contractual obligations and legal issues that may affect organisational changes, commercial arrangements and implementation.
He holds a Master’s degree from the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management and a Bachelor of Laws from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.
Nham Ngoc Quynh Nhu
External Relations, Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Engagement – 12+ years
Nhu has more than 12 years of experience in external relations, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, marketing and corporate social responsibility.
She is currently External Communications Manager at Greenfeed Group. She previously worked at VinaCapital Foundation, Loc Troi Group and VinaCapital.
At EPS, Nhu supports stakeholder coordination and external communications where required by a restructuring or transaction assignment. Her role includes organising engagement with relevant partners and groups, coordinating communications activities and following up on agreed actions.
She holds a Master’s degree from the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management and a Master’s degree in Advanced Marketing and Communications Management from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
A Team Structured Around Each Assignment
Each assignment has a senior advisor responsible for the work, supported by the financial, legal, commercial and other expertise required by the agreed scope. EPS assembles the team around the needs of the business and the stage of the restructuring or transaction, with clear roles, deliverables and responsibilities.
